SPECIAL NOTES BEFORE REGISTRATION
- You MUST be currently employed by a weatherization agency in order to register for this course.
- If you are already registered for the Multifamily Energy Auditor Course that takes place on these same days, you do NOT need to register again for the Clean Boilers Course. The two overlap for these 5 days.
- TO WAP AGENCIES: You MUST register online in order to attend this course. If you do not register, you will not be admitted to the course.
Course Overview:This program is an extensive five day training for construction managers. It includes field and classroom session and tests attendees extensively in the areas of large boiler construction, efficiency, and installation. For contractors, the program provides a one day (for new contractors) or half-day (for existing contractors) orientation to understand the intricacies of the WAP program, as well as detailed review of our boiler specifications.
The “Clean Boilers” program includes a “field inspection” component designed to assess the quality of contractor installation and field supervision by construction managers. Deemed a success by all parties, this process of certifying construction managers and contractors will continue this year, as it bodes well for the installation of more efficient and cleaner heating systems in New York City.
Student Eligibility: Attendees must be current employees of Weatherization sub-grantee agencies.

- Day 4: Tuesday Nov 10 (10 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
- Day 5: Thursday Nov 12 (10 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
- There is no cost to agency staff for this training course.
